Teacher is a word called LIFE

It takes a teacher's life,
to make a school a home,
a place to be remembered,
no matter where we roam...

It takes a teacher's patience
to bring a student up right,
and their courage and cheerfulness
to make a dark day bright...

It takes a teacher's thoughtfulness
to mend the heart's deep hurts,
and their skill and endurance
to mend little hearts and souls...

It takes a teacher's wisdom
to recognize our needs,
and to give us reassurance
by their kind words and deeds..

And that is why in all this world,
there could not be another
who could fulfill God's purpose
as completely as a TEACHER!
